When products are packed in such laminates, the basis weight of packaging can be lowered by 40% on average; as a result, the same percentage of waste does not enter the environment. Promoting paper as an ecological material in packaging is another measure taken to preserve the environment. This allows for the reduction of non-biodegradable materials in laminates by even 50%. Making packaging thinner and using paper in them, apart from an ecological aspect, also bring about economic benefits, which results in huge interest of all customers for whom ecological measures combined with economic measures are one of the basic marketing objectives.
